Company History

Started in 1970 buy Richard C. Bragg in a small 400 square foot building on Park Avenue. Selling General Electric equipment, company had three employees.

Moved to larger 1200 square foot location in 1972.

Moved to present location at 1926 Park Avenue East in 1977. Original building was 5000 square feet. Presently we are at 7500 square feet and in need of more room.

Son, Roger Bragg started working summers in 1975.

Son, Ronald Bragg started working summers in 1978,

In 1983, General Electric Heating and Air Conditioning division was purchased by Trane.

Upon completion of college in 1984, Roger returned to the family business full time.

Ronald returned full time in 1985.

After many years of positive growth with our Amana line, Bragg was recognized in 2005 by Amana as one of the top 10 selling dealers in the entire Southeast. With sales that year of over $300,000.

Bragg was one of the top 10 Trane dealer in the state of SC in 2007-2008 based on sales.

January 2009, company has grown to 20 employees. Selling and equal amount of Trane and Amana equipment.

 Feb. 2009---As we strive to offer our customers quality equipment options,. we have added the Carrier line to our equipment options.
